COMPLEX JOINT REVISION CENTER
Over the next decade, as the U.S. population ages, there will be an increase in volume
of joint replacement procedures, with an expected increase of up to 174 percent for hip replacements and 673 percent for knee replacements by 2030. Consequently, the demand for hip and knee revision replacement surgery will also significantly increase, with
an estimated growth of 137 percent and 600 percent, respectively.
Hoag Orthopedic Institute is the largest total joint replacement provider in the state of California and a trusted referral center for revision of failed
implants. With nearly 400 complex revision surgeries performed annually and growing, HOI is at the forefront of revision replacement surgery in Orange County and serves as a regional tertiary care referral center for physicians with complex joint replacement concerns, including infected and failed implants.
